I’ve been here a couple times and I will definitely keep coming! The staff is so generous and welcoming. You get a complementary water bottle from the owner. Jay definitely knows how to run his business and is very friendly and made me feel very welcomed. The motel rooms were remodeled. It is very modern with grey walls and grey wood floors, better than any hotels I have been too like Holiday Inn or Days Inn. Exceptional. It felt like I was in a remodeled home bedroom. Thank you Jay for your superb management and I look forward to seeing you again!
Lady owner is very sweet. No bed bugs, whew!!! Clean enough. Downstairs is smoking section, upstairs is Non but I try to get ground floor because of all my luggage I have to unload. Yes, it smelled of cigarette but aired out quickly. Opened window, cranks A/C, which works wonderfully! And sprayed.... Voila!!! Quiet, ice machine on both floors, no coffee but plenty of places to eat. Cardenas is excellent Mexican restaurant!
This is definitely my go-to motel. The workers are really kind and polite and friendly. They always keep their business clean. Now that they are remodeling, the rooms are that much better. I would give them 10 stars if i could.
